About the speakers;
Rabia Moaz
I’m Rabia Moaz, the Senior Manager for Talent Acquisition at Tangerine. I oversee a team of recruiters that support all various business lines within the Tangerine bank portfolio. I hold a Bachelor of Commerce from University of Toronto as well as a certification in Data & Analytics. I’m passionate about bringing the best people into our organization and delivering exceptional support to our business partners. I believe in working collaboratively, encouraging diverse ideas and innovation, and building an inclusive culture here at Tangerine. When I’m not working, I’m spending time with my teenage daughter (cooking/baking together), watching crime documentaries, and hiking or doing yoga.
Devanshi Shah
My name is Devanshi, and I am a Talent Acquisition Specialist hiring for the contact centre/customer service department at Tangerine. I have over 5 years of HR experience specializing in recruitment within a variety of industries such as banking, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, etc. Tangerine is well known for being innovative and having an inclusive culture, thus providing me with the opportunity to think outside of the box and be creative when faced with challenges. The most rewarding part of my role is knowing that I truly make a difference in people’s lives while contributing to the business’s success. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my loved ones including my 18-month nephew and 9-year-old turtle “Squirtle” and binge-watching tv series (love cop shows!).
Alicia Richmond
My name is Alicia Richmond, and I am a Senior Consultant, Talent Acquisition hiring for the Sales and Service Operations teams at Tangerine. I have earned B. Management (Finance) from the University of Lethbridge, B. Admin Diploma (Marketing) from SAIT and hold my CPHR professional HR designation. I have worked in Talent Acquisition for 18 years and worked many years in the Telecommunications industry before joining banking. What I love about working at Tangerine is being able to be creative and suggest new and innovative ways of doing things. I am always learning and growing and love that I am constantly challenged. The Tangerine team is amazing! Everyone is supportive, shares their ideas and eagerly there to jump in at help when needed. It is a great environment to thrive and challenge yourself. I used to be on a mountain bike team in my younger years while living in Calgary. Since I am no longer close to the mountains, I now spin on my Peloton and love all the challenging classes that are offered.
Santhia Sivasuntharam
My name is Santhia, and I am a Senior Talent Acquisition Consultant here at Scotiabank supporting the Tangerine team. My portfolio consists of Retail, Marketing, Customer and Design. Here at Tangerine, I love that there are enormous amount of growth opportunities and how much importance is given to development and growth of their people. Most of all, I love that Tangerine is the Bank of the Raptors! Bit about myself – I completed my degree in Psychology from York University. Later, I decided I did not want to pursue psychology, but still wanted to have a career where I could help people. So, I decided to do a post-graduate certificate in HR, and have been working within the recruitment industry for almost 5 years now. I enjoy connecting people to new opportunities and their dream job! When I am not headhunting for talent you will find me spending time with my dog Milo and family. Also, I enjoy going on hikes, swimming and love watching basketball!
