About the Speakers:
Line Goulet
“I am originally from Quebec and have lived in Ontario for about 30 years. I have been working at the Canada Revenue Agency since 2013. I worked at the call center as a bilingual taxpayer service agent for almost 5 years, answering questions on taxes, benefits and credits. I am now a Benefits Outreach Officer with the Community Volunteer Income Tax Program (CVITP) since 2018. Our objective is to promote financial literacy and empowerment for all Canadians. Working for the Government of Canada is very rewarding in many ways; my main focus is to put people first and help them with their finances as best as possible. I appreciate the opportunity to help taxpayers and make sure they understand the Canadian tax system; so that they can receive their benefits and credits to which they are entitled.”
Luddy Delgado
“My name is Luddy Delgado and I am a volunteer and outreach benefits officer with the CRA. I have been with the CRA since 2020 and it has been the most rewarding experience. I began working in the Contact Centre helping taxpayers over the phone, and then moved on to the CVITP and Outreach Program to assist volunteers and organizations in helping people in their communities file their taxes and access their benefits.”
