About the Speakers
Julina Throop is a Senior Corporate Recruiter working with Solace, she brings over 9 years of experience within highly technical staffing roles. Julina comes with experience in a staffing agency background, working with Public and Private sector clients and is excited to be starting a new journey as a Corporate Recruiter. She enjoys working closely with people, building relationships and ultimately making the best matches in hiring new talent. Julina has a strong passion for finding top Talent and a true interest in Technology.
Bishakha is a recent graduate from both a Marketing & HR Management program at Algonquin College, previously graduated with a Bachelor’s in Business Admin as well. She is currently a Recruitment Coordinator with Solace, focusing on creating a positive candidate & hiring manager experience. Bishakha enjoys meeting people and forming connections. She firmly believes that an organization’s ultimate strength is its culture and she particularly enjoys the challenges that it presents with understanding what motivates people and managing expectations. In my free time, I like to dance, watch movies, and do all things outdoorsy.
1st and foremost Nicole Mair is a mom of 3 boys and enjoys every minute of it. She has always thrived in an environment where she builds and nurtures relationships which is what led her to a career in Recruiting and HR. An out of the box thinker, she loves a good challenge, enjoys searching for that “purple squirrel” that we all know and love. Her true passion is “people”, whether that’s creating connections, coaching and mentoring others or simply sharing a story. In her 15+ years in her HR & recruiting career she has focused mostly on tech organizations, including CGI, Entrust and now she is Manager, HR& Talent at Solace.
